Indonesia is a developing nation and a founding member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations as well as a member of the G-20 economies. With a total population of more than 255 million inhabitants, Indonesia is one of the top five most populous countries in the world. Indonesia shares borders with Papua New Guinea, East Timor and Malaysia. Indonesia is a sovereign state archipelago in Southeast Asia and Oceania.
